Privacy Policy
Trading AI was designed so that the most sensitive thing you give it — your charts — never leaves your phone. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, who processes it and how to delete it.

Trading AI ("the Service", "we", "us") is an iOS application operated by Alex Alonso. For any privacy question, contact us at alex28042@gmail.com.
This Privacy Policy describes how the Service collects, uses and shares personal information when you use the Trading AI mobile app or this website. It is written to comply with the GDPR, the CCPA and Apple's App Store privacy requirements.
2. Chart photos are processed on-device
The photos and screenshots you analyze are processed entirely on your device by a neural network embedded in the app. They are never uploaded to our servers, never stored outside your device and never used to train models. Only the resulting verdict (direction, confidence score and detected patterns) is saved to your private scan history.
3. Data we collect
- Account data: when you first open the app we create an anonymous session tied to a random user identifier. If you choose to link Sign in with Apple or Google, we additionally receive your email, optional name and a provider-scoped unique ID.
- Profile and questionnaire data: answers you give during onboarding about your trading experience, markets you trade and goals. Used solely to personalize the app.
- Scan history: the result of each analysis — verdict (buy / sell / hold), confidence score, detected patterns and timestamps. The underlying image stays on your device.
- Usage quota: a counter of scans used, to enforce free-tier limits.
- Purchase data: your subscription status, current plan and purchase history, received from RevenueCat and Apple. We never see your payment card details.
- Device data: OS version, device language and anonymous diagnostics used to keep the app reliable.
4. How we use your data
- Provide the Service: run your analyses, keep your scan history in sync and personalize your experience.
- Process subscriptions: verify your entitlement through RevenueCat and unlock Pro features.
- Keep the Service reliable and secure: fix bugs, prevent abuse and enforce quotas.
- Communicate with you: answer support requests and send service-related notices.
We do not use your data for third-party advertising and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
5. Legal bases (GDPR)
We rely on (i) your consent when you sign in with Apple or Google and voluntarily provide onboarding answers, (ii) contractual necessity to deliver the Service you subscribed to, and (iii) our legitimate interest in keeping the Service safe and improving it.
6. Who we share data with
- Supabase (EU region, eu-central-2): hosts our database and authentication backend. Data is protected with Row Level Security — each user can only read and write their own rows.
- Apple: Sign in with Apple and App Store subscription processing.
- Google: only if you choose "Continue with Google" for authentication.
- RevenueCat: subscription management, entitlement checks and purchase restoration.
- Vercel: hosts this website and processes standard web server logs (IP address, user agent).
We never sell your personal data. No data broker, no ad network, no exceptions.
7. International transfers
Our primary database lives in the European Union. Some sub-processors listed above operate in the United States; transfers to them are protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account from Settings, your profile, onboarding answers and scan history are erased from our servers. Anonymous, aggregated metrics may be retained longer.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (GDPR, CCPA and similar laws), you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal data, and the right to object to certain processing. You can exercise the most important one — deletion — directly in the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. For anything else, email alex28042@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
10. Children
Trading AI is not directed at children and is intended for users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Security
All traffic between the app and our backend is encrypted with TLS. Database access is gated by Row Level Security tied to your authenticated user ID. Payment data is handled exclusively by Apple and RevenueCat.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page, and the "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
